Ah glorious winter! The fresh crisp air, the beautiful soft muted browns, greens and golds of the outdoors surround us, the rosy cheeks and the bright & colourful layers of clothing. Winter is one of my favorite seasons to photograph in, everything sounds just that little bit softer and quieter, our pace becomes a little bit slower, and we take time to breathe deep that earthy-ness around us. Winter also creates for us an amazing backdrop for portraits, so what better time to get outdoors!
To celebrate all that is winter, I offered a special day of Winter Mini Sessions together with Kim from Sabii Photography. The weather was perfect and the location was just magical.
This beautiful family started out the day, with the most adorable little boys – two brothers who are clearly the best of friends as well. They had a wonderful time exploring the outdoors and playing games together. And the songs they sang together were the sweetest thing to listen to! Thank you and I hope these images find a special place on the walls of your home.
