You be the anchor
that keeps my feet
on the ground.
I’ll be the wings
that keep your heart
in the clouds.

Jen & Praxis had the most beautiful summer’s day for their wedding in Surrey, British Columbia (Canada) and I was so honoured they asked me to capture all the moments of the day for them. I had the fabulous Debbie T. shooting with me, and we had so much fun working together.
Jen was simply stunning in her wedding gown with a delicate one shoulder design. Her ivory tulle veil with delicate organza ribbon edge as well as the vibrant saffron iridescent silk bridesmaids dresses (and adorable miniature version for little flower girl Jude) with the most devine beaded detailing on the back, were custom made by Little Pink Dress.
With Jen’s Finnish & Irish heritage, and Praxis with his Mexican background, this day was destined to be big, colourful and full of fun! A beautiful and touching ceremony (including translation for the Mexican guests) was followed by their reception of marvellous food, heartfelt speeches and songs performed, a serenade by the Groom to his new wife, beautiful video stories of how Jen & Praxis came to meet, a sweet father-daughter song that had everyone in tears, and to finish off…the biggest piñata I have ever seen was busted open with the bride & groom exiting the reception as the confetti and candies fell to the ground and a super moon hung in the night sky outside.
