My first time as a bridesmaid and already I’m ignoring the brides’ requests and instead snapping pics as we get ready. But can you blame me? I have never listened to my sister Ruth before and she looked absolutly stunning so I couldn’t help myself in capturing some photos of her wedding day. (The official wedding photos were by the gorgeous Mercy Dahl – love her work!)
Ruth married Michael on beautiful Bonniebrook beach on the magical Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada in a wedding full of so much love, family and friends and dancing long into the night.
Her elegant ivory lace vintage-inspired wedding gown and veil were custom designed by my big sister Hannah; the designer behind Little Pink Dress. Hannah creates dream dresses and couture gowns in the most exquisite fabrics and fabulous contemporary looks. The bridesmaids dresses and flower girls dresses were also custom Hannah creations, and I felt like a beautiful mermaid goddess in mine.
Ruth & Michael, I wish you all the happiness in the world. It was a perfect wedding and I feel so proud and privileged to be part of your beautiful day.
